Forward in Faith has issed a brief Statement warmly welcoming the Archibishops' Proposed Amendments to the Draft Legislation before the General Synod in July, which can be seen at:

There are those who are rushing to comment on this and certain elements would seem to be pursuing a path that will hardly leave to a "parting of friends" as exemplified by Newman and Pusey.
The full details of these amendments have yet to be released and the Gadarene rush to opine would seem precipitous at best. We should pray for the Archbishops and be thankful to them for trying at least to find a way out of the logjam.
