Careful examination of Bible stories reveals that the next phase of the Kingdom of God is nothing short of a world-ruling monarchy established by God through Jesus Christ. In the book of Daniel, Daniel explains that God will replace human kingdoms with the Kingdom of God. Daniel elucidates that the fourth kingdom will be replaced by the Kingdom of God when Christ returns.
For humanity, the coming Kingdom of God is at the core of Jesus Christ’s message. The kingdom will be everlasting and all rulers will worship and obey him. Jesus Christ will rule the nations of the earth and therefore, solve humanities problems.
The Kingdom of Heaven affects one’s entire physical life as well as one’s eternal future. The comprehension of the Kingdom of Heaven by the world’s religions is miniscule at best. The Kingdom of Heaven is ruled by God. The Kingdom of Heaven is the Kingdom of God. Although many Christians believe that the Kingdom of Heaven is a destination of paradise in heaven, in actuality heaven is coming here.
In many Bible stories, Jesus continued to speak of His return to earth. The Bible stories of Jesus account for His first coming. At His second coming Jesus Christ will return to rule the world. The Kingdom of God will then be established throughout the earth. The true Kingdom of Heaven requires one to think like Jesus Christ, which involves guiding one’s conscience to value, seek and anticipate the future Kingdom of God.
The United Church of God celebrates the Feast of Tabernacles as Jesus Himself once did. The United Church of God is committed to following the example of the first-century Church. The Feast of Tabernacles is not widely observed by other religious organizations; however, from the perspective of Bible stories the Feast of Tabernacles frames the coming time when Jesus will return to earth and rule the world for 1,000 years.
The United Church of God celebrates the Feast of Tabernacles in light of unprecedented harmony and peace.
