Maria Azua's Bio:
Maria's story will inspire minorities in the field of technology as she was inducted into the Women In Technology International (WITI) Hall of Fame, and named one of the “100 Most Influential Hispanics” by People Magazine in 2006. Maria has 48 patents and 41 pending patents that span a wide spectrum of technologies and is a member of IBM’s Academy of Technology, an elite think tank comprised of 300 of IBM’s top technologists and scientists. Throughout her technological caree! r, Maria has developed IT solutions for the largest banks in the world. She is well recognized for her technical leadership in home-banking solutions. Maria currently appears in the Hispanic IT Executive Council's "Most Influential Hispanics In Information Technology" and September 2009 Maria published her first book "The Social Factor: Innovate, Ignite, and Win through Mass Collaboration and Social Networking."
