SHPE-NYC 2010 July Networking Event Recap

Our July networking event was held at Iguanas in Midtown Manhattan, and consisted of over 50 attendees! This event was also an opportunity to highlight some of the SHPE-NYC members. We would like to announce the 2009-2010 SHPE-NYC Valued Members. These members have volunteered several hours for the organization, and have demonstrated time and time again their commitment to the success and growth of the organization. Each award recipient will receive a complimentary membership for the 2010-2011 fiscal year. This is the second year SHPE-NYC has distributed these awards.

This years recipients include Felsia Miranda, Gisela Camino, Mauricio Godoy and Theo Chan (not pictured).

We would also like to take a moment to thank a number of individuals for their overall support, feedback, and frequent event participation during the 2009-2010 fiscal year. These individuals include:

Tyrone Rodriguez, Pedro Cabezas, Rosa Ramos-Kwok, Fernando Rosario, Luis Varela, Patricia Ortiz, Jimmy Mena, Kelvin Corniel, Cathy Dumancela, Neil Weisenfeld, Eugene Garrison, Julio Maclay, Edwin Cabrera, and William Jimenez.

All of these individuals were mentioned and announced during the networking event. SHPE-NYC would again like to thank you all, and look forward to the 2010-2011 fiscal year, which began on July 1st. We received some live feedback during the event, and included it below.
