MC Shan Rocking Dapper Dan Puma Suit, "Shirt King" Portrait Sweat Shirt, Gold caps, Fade & shape-up parting. Can you get more fresh in 88'?!
"For those of you who are unfamiliar with my history, I have interviewed over 200 Hip-Hop artists, B-Boys, DJs, MCs, Graffiti Writers, Producers, and Film Makers over the years, for Film, Radio, Magazines and Magazine features. After being told I "knew too much about Hip-Hop to be a writer for Touch Magazine" which described itself as "The Original UK Urban Music Magazine"????!!! In 2005 I was asked by the same Touch Magazine, to interview 3 of really influential Hip-Hop Legends in one afternoon!!! It was one of the highlights of my "Career" as a Hip-Hop Journalist (whatever that means).
I had the chance to meet their manager Grand Imperial Arkim, better known as one of the first rappers from Queensbridge, on Vinyl. Arkim was famous for his songs with Legendary Queens DJ Hot Day, he broke down some Queensbridge Rap history for me. It was a really good day, hearing MC Shan one of the funniest guys in Hip-Hop joking around with and Basketball Legend Walt "Clyde" Frazier Superstartar Pro Baller over lunch, about (his classic signature shoe Puma Clyde's aka States). "Yo how in the hell did you play Ball in them dude. I can't believe you never broke your ankle just walking in them???!" Good times, I will be editing them and many more for broadcast on The UK's Best Hip-Hop Radio station www.Sensei.fm soon!" - The Kool Skool's Shucks One ID UZN

DJ Cash Money Interview By Shucks One
Cash Money is my favourite DJ, the first Turntablists DJ I ever really saw (yes on Night Network), and I had lots of questions for him. He broke down the Phillie Hip-Hop scene and in particular, the DJ's role in that, influential Radio personality Angie B, his winning of the New Music Semenar, Sleeping Bag Records, and modern DJs. A real honour

hereMC Shan Interview By Shucks One
MC Shan is one of the funniest don't give a fuck MCs I have ever met, he talked about Beefing with Hill Top Hustlers (Steady B/Cool C etc), LL Cool J, BDP and anyone else, Marley Marl's "lost and found" Bridge is over Reel. The interview was over an hour long so there was A LOT that didn't go in the mag. Watch this space for the entire interviews in audio format!!!
Doug E. Fresh Interview by Shucks One
Doug E. Fresh is one of the coolest and positive guys out there, he told me about the history of his "Get Fresh Crew", his many Community works, 1/2 Trini, 1/2 Bajan heritage, again proving the Caribbean elements of Foundation Hip-Hop Culture and more.
The Interviews featured in Touch Magazine November 2005 (practically took me until 2008 to get paid hahaha!)
