Bureaucracy under our present political masters continues to get worse. While I cannot divulge who or where this applies to. I was told today that an auditor took a volunteer, who had purchased some items for the organisation she helps, to task for using her own reward card at the checkout and not recompensing the organisation for the points awarded when claiming the amount back she had spent. The fact that the same person gives huge numbers of vouchers to the organisation from other promotions that enable them to obtain much needed equipment free over the course of the year for those they serve didn't enter said overbearing auditors head.
I am all for clear and well run accounts, but this is just barking mad, and smyptomatic of a country that has gone rules mad and seems bent on criminalising thousands of people for their views. Do we really want to be controlled by people who can be so petty-minded? Why have we sat back and allowed such a dire state of affairs to develop?
