IMPORTANT TEACHING DAY AT STONY STRATFORD

A Day of Teaching,
Reconciliation and Healing

with the
Bishops of Ebbsfleet and Richborough

Saturday 7th March
10:30am - 3:30pm

“From the hands of Jesus”

Some while back we held a Teaching Day on the Eucharist and had The Rev’d Doctor Jeremy Sheehy and The Rev’d Doctor Richard Barrett lead us in our thoughts.

On Saturday 7th March we shall have two, not just one, Bishops with us to lead us as we think about the Sacraments of Healing and Reconciliation. Bishop Andrew of Ebbsfleet has spoken many times on the Sacrament of Healing and will no doubt have some interesting thoughts to share with us. Bishop Keith of Richborough spoke on the Sacrament of Reconciliation at the Caister Pilgrimage last year and this was very well received. As both these Bishops come to us with Parochial experience we can be sure that what they have to share with us will be pastorally based.

The Day will start with Mass at 10:30am. Bishop Keith will lead the morning reflection. Priests will be available over lunch for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Spiritual Counsel. After lunch Bishop Andrew will lead the afternoon reflection and the day will conclude with Evening Prayer with the Laying on of Hands and Anointing.
