SHPE-NYC held its first Technology Series event of the fiscal year 2008-2009 on October 14th of last year. The topic was Cisco TelePresence. This was the first time in the history of SHPE-NYC where three professional chapters (Atlanta, New Jersey, and New York City) came together in a life-like experience traveling across Cisco's video network without booking a flight! Attendees were able to talk and learn about Cisco TelePresence from the engineers and developers who design and architect the technology that makes such unique experience a reality.
